...but -I- does not has a hat.
 Back from vacation! Finished this up while I was gone. Yon lad up there is an RP character of mine, Robert "Bobby" Belmont. Formerly a booze-runner in Al Capone's operation in the 1920s, currently a vampire gangster. Don't look at me like that, it's not my fault all the Anne Rice fans have made the majority of RP vampires unendingly lame. The RP in question has zero of the angst you usually see, since the people involved all loathe Anne Riceian angstmuffin vampires... Quite fond of his character, though. Prohibition era anything =  Usually found in the company of a dhampir by the name of Gus. (played by ~Phoenixfirewolf ) I'm aware that his eyes are quite crooked, by the way. I'm getting better but egads... still a long way to go. Considering that I rarely (read: never) draw people wearing hats, I think it turned out pretty well. Not perfect by a long shot (it's supposed to be a fedora, really) but not too bad I think. Technical stuff: 2H - 2B pencils on sketchpaper, with hairspray to stop smudging once finished. Yes, hairspray - turns out that works as well as the expensive fixative stuff in the store. |
